Inspired by our award winning 1934 Ford 40 Special Speedster Boattail we designed a powerful, attractive and functional car. We took the lines and the design of the original model and developed it together with the best technologies in motoration, electronics, chassis and supreme body construction

SP40 Restomod was founded by the same team behind Iconic Auto Sports, a low-volume car manufacturer established by Francisco Orden and Arturo Arrebillaga. Both are passionate about cars and set out to create something new— a place where people could find their dream, truly unique iconic car. By combining Arturo’s industrial engineering skills, Francisco’s classic car expertise, and a dedicated team of engineers, designers, metal-sheet artisans, and specialized mechanics, they earned three Autoclásica awards:

Winning the award with the 1934 Ford 40 Special Speedster Boattail sparked the desire to create their own SP40 Restomod Speedster. To build this car, every single component had to be designed and fabricated individually. This marked the beginning of their journey—going back to the roots by blending classic American muscle with European design elegance.
